BOOK INSPIRATION

Martina Anto-Ocrah, PhD, MPH, MT(ASCP)

When I started graduate school, I had 4 kids under 4.
One ☝🏽two ✌🏽three four 👶🏽👶🏽👧🏽👧🏽
My oldest was 3.5 years old and 10month old triplets!
TRIPLETS!! 👼🏾👼🏾👼🏾
Yup
10months old
Double Yup 💅🏾

I remember this so vividly because 2 months after the semester started, the #triplets turned 1 and I was in class learning Epidemiological concepts while simultaneously planning the trips’ first birthday party and a peer asked me,
“Soo are you getting 3 cakes for each of them?!”

Insane in the membrane! Three cakes?! Who does that?! 🙃🙃🙃

Nope! One cake. With 3 stick figures drawn on it, cos Mommy needed to do homework!

In those 5 years of graduate school, I realized a few things:
1) I thrive in chaos—>probably explains why my first faculty appointment was in Emergency Medicine
and
2)My life was LUDICROUS and full of hilarious stories.

I started a parenting blog. An AUTHENTIC parenting blog…
✨Of a child calling me at work to tell me he LICKED his armpits and can’t get the taste out of his mouth (don’t ask how he did it…it’s still a mystery 🤨);
✨Of coming home and seeing that artistic Kennedy had painted all her siblings green while they slept, to turn them all into a leopard family! (Why not)
✨Of a dotting spouse, who is ALWAYS inevitably followed by our ducklings of children that I’m desperately hiding from on the daily! (Context cues!!!)     🦆🐥🐥🐥🐥

And of course, my
#Netflix #NailedIt debut!

My pandemic baby,
Triplets make Four is available on Amazon! I did it!!
